Plain bar soap, Castile soap or lye soap are the best options

Dish soap leaves something behind. cleaning my eyeglasses with dish soap I can never get them streak free also if I spray paint something after washing with dish soap I'll get fish eye.

Rubbing alcohol doesn't seem to be very effective either.
