Washing your silicone devices:

Cheap bar soap!!!

example: dial, irish spring, or even lye soap from your local farmers market.

( possible allergy issue: some soaps contain coconut oil its typically listed a sodium cocoate )

What about dish soap?

Dish soap is designed to clean grease from dishes while trying to not dry out your skin.

The dish soap we use here at Chris' Online Store Factory doesn't list a moisturizer directly,

the glycerin or the propylene glycol may be the issue(s). I think this might be another cheaper is better situation as they would skip caring if it dries out your hands on the lower cost dish soaps.

Usage:

CAR-1

Before putting on the CAR-1 for the first time blow some air through it as the silicone likes stick to itself and will take a little effort the first time.

If you are new to restoration Please follow my directions

as you progress you can try different ways of putting it on.

If you message me because you are having issues these directions will become the questions i will ask to troubleshoot the issues.

  1. Device cleaning. Wash with cheap bar soap. Dish soap doesn't work it leaves something slippery behind. Rubbing alcohol (IPA) doesn't seem to work very well either. I've had the best results with just cheap plain bar soap. When storing silicone devices keep them out of direct sunlight as the silicone is not UV stable it'll turn a nasty brown color and degrade. do not store with the gripper flipped up itll case the outer gripper to split.

  2. Putting the device on. After cleaning and drying the device. Flip up the outer gripper. Place the car-1 on the glans. Roll skin up on to the inner gripper. You'll want to cover about 3/4 (most) of the inner gripper. Flip outer gripper down using the hand that rolled the skin up to control the gripper flip down speed. Then give it a good steady tug to help smooth out the skin under the gripper.

  3.  Did you notice I didn't say anything about the scar line? If you're at a low CI number don't worry about where the scar line falls. by forcing the scarline to the rollover point you will limit the amount of skin inside the air envelope.  When you have more skin to work with them you can start putting the scar line at the rollover point if you want.

  4.  Air pressure. When you inflate you do not need maximum pressure!! You want it to be squishy not rock hard. If you over inflate it you can pinch one side of the outer gripper to let some air out.

  5. after inflating the CAR-1 insert one of the included plugs. the air valve will slowly leak without it.

  6. alternative method that works at a low ci# is the "deep grip method" the way i do it is to roll the skin up onto the glands then place the car-1 on and then keep rolling up 3/4 of the inner gripper that way you will have more skin inside the air envelope = more skin under tension.

  7.  you will need to add a little air if using it as a tugger or a retainer. in tugger mode it will make vacuum and pull the gland with it, add maybe a pump or two of air.

Silicone retainer

  1. place the retainer on the gland.

  2. roll the skin up 1/2 to 3/4 of the inner gripper.

  3. flip the gripper down.

  4. again don't worry about the scarline if you pull the skin tight between the gripper and the corona/glands or stuff the skin into the crotch of the grippers it'll be uncomfortable,

  5. the retainer will not cover all of the gland and doesn't need to. you want more skin to skin contact.

Leg Strap

Its meant to be looped around your leg below the knee.

  1. Hold the end without the clip in your hand on the same side as the leg you're going to tie the strap to( right hand right leg or left hand and left leg) then pass the strap behind your leg and around the front to the loop on the end of the strap.

  2. Thread the clip end up through the loop in the end and attach it to the clip on the car-1/tugger.

  3. To tension the strap rotate the loop around your leg in the direction of the leg it's on.

  4.  directions for attaching.  Paracord+clip

  5. video here. 18+ NSFW

 Silicone tube

it's a compression band

use it on the outside of the outer gripper if you are having slippage or air holding issues.
